Education: I graduated with a Missions Degree from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO

Years in ministry: I have been in ministry since 1976 - 45 years!

Family: Married to Mitch Hopkins. I have three married children, Bryan, Crissy & Blake, and seven adorable grandchildren.

Hometown: Detroit, Michigan

I became a Christian... on May 14, 1967 at Ryan Road Baptist Church in Warren, Michigan. I loved going to church from the time I was two years old, but I became keenly aware of my need for a Savior when I was twelve.

Easter Sunday, 1977, was my first time to attend CrossPoint, formerly Central Baptist Church. Pastor Bruce Melton brought us out with him from Michigan to work with the youth when he took over the pastorate.

Describe your job: I have the privilege of managing the finances of the church, preschool, school and summer day camp, as well as coordinating and working in the Nursery.

What is a random task that you do that not many people know about? I like to keep things organized.

What do you want people to know about the church staff? Our church staff loves God, this church and each other-- we enjoy working and serving together -- and we have lots of fun along the way!

In what ways have you seen God move through your ministry? I am continually amazed at the way God works in the hearts of His people as they learn to learn and trust God. It's humbling to see the sacrifices that people make to honor God with their finances.
