The Best People Ever
Volunteers are some of the most special people at CrossPoint. They are selfless, passionate and so loving. They pick up trash, change diapers, flip burgers. They are the hands and feet of Jesus. While our full-time staff is small and mighty, our volunteers are the ones who keep our church operating smoothly. Volunteer positions range from first-time, entry-level spots to leadership roles. Check out the descriptions below and pray about how you can serve the body of Christ.
Volunteers in CPKids serve our 1st-5th graders during our Sunday services through singing with the children, telling stories and sharing the truth about God's love. They check in children, teach lessons, lead a small group, or play in the worship band.
Our Craftsmen team serves behind the scenes and keep things running at our church. They help with building projects and general maintenance of our entire campus and keep things looking great.
Our food pantry provides food to our community free of charge. We currently serve over 100 people through our food pantry. Our volunteers help collect and bag food, help to keep the pantry itself neat and orderly, and hand out bags on Sunday mornings.
Volunteers on our Guest Services team are the first people our guests come into contact with at our services. They greet people before services, help families get their children checked in and keep the coffee flowing at the Welcome Center.
We have some amazing people in our church who love to provide food to church families in times of need, like recovering from a surgery, adjusting to a new baby/adoption or going through the loss of a loved one. If you would like to help provide food, this is the ministry for you.
Our Nursery volunteers have the opportunity to love on our church's newest additions (birth to 2yrs). They sing songs, change diapers and give parents peace of mind that their little one is being taken care of during our Sunday services.
Volunteers in our Preschool (2yrs - 5yrs) get the opportunity to shepherd and care for our cutest attendees. They sing songs, have fun with hand motions, make crafts, and share the truth of Jesus. They check children in, lead classrooms, provide assistance to teachers and parents.
Volunteers on our Worship Arts team use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through music, sound and lighting. They lead worship and help keep things running smoothly during our services so that our attendees can have a great experience meeting with the Lord and our church.
