The church is at its best when every person uses their gifts to build up the body of Christ and care for one another. Whether you’re welcoming guests, investing in kids, leading worship, or serving behind the scenes, your role matters and makes an eternal difference.
“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” 1 Peter 4:10
Serving is more than filling a need — it’s an opportunity to grow in your faith, build meaningful relationships, and be part of what God is doing through the church. There’s a place for you to serve, belong, and make an impact.
"Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going back to God, rose from supper. He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around his waist. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him." John 13:3-5
Children's Ministry
Volunteers in CPKids serve our 1st-5th graders during our Sunday services through singing with the children, telling stories and sharing the truth about God's love. They check in children, teach lessons, lead a small group, or play in the worship band.
Nursery
Our Nursery volunteers have the opportunity to love on our church's newest additions (birth to 2yrs). They sing songs, change diapers and give parents peace of mind that their little one is being taken care of during our Sunday services.
Preschool
Volunteers in our Preschool (2yrs - 5yrs) get the opportunity to shepherd and care for our cutest attendees. They sing songs, have fun with hand motions, make crafts, and share the truth of Jesus. They check children in, lead classrooms, provide assistance to teachers and parents.
Guest Services
Volunteers on our Guest Services team are the first people our guests come into contact with at our services. They greet people before services, help families get their children checked in and keep the coffee flowing at the Welcome Center.
Meals Ministry
We have some amazing people in our church who love to provide food to church families in times of need, like recovering from a surgery, adjusting to a new baby/adoption or going through the loss of a loved one. If you would like to help provide food, this is the ministry for you.
safety
The Safety Team helps create a secure, welcoming environment where people can worship, learn, and connect with peace of mind. From monitoring the campus and assisting during emergencies to offering a calm and visible presence during services and events, this team serves behind the scenes to care for and protect others. The Safety Team plays an important role in helping every person feel safe, valued, and cared for when they walk through our doors.
broadcast
From operating cameras and livestream software to managing audio and visuals for online viewers, this team plays a vital role in helping people stay connected and engaged. Whether someone is traveling, homebound, or exploring church for the first time online, the Broadcast Team helps make ministry accessible every week.
production
The Production Team helps create an engaging and distraction-free worship environment through sound, lighting, and visuals. From running audio and stage lighting to displaying lyrics, graphics, and sermon visuals, this team supports every part of the service experience behind the scenes. Whether you’re creative, technical, or eager to learn, the Production Team uses technology and creativity to help people focus on worship and the message of Jesus.

This team helps with home repairs for those in our church family: widows, single moms, and those with moderate to severe health or financial hardships.
care

prayer
The Prayer Team exists to care for people through intentional, faith-filled prayer. Whether praying with someone after a service, interceding during the week, or supporting ministry through prayer behind the scenes, this team helps create a culture that depends on God in every season. The Prayer Team serves with compassion, encouragement, and confidence that God hears and responds when His people pray.

parking/shuttle
The Parking & Shuttle Team helps create a warm and welcoming first impression from the moment people arrive on campus. By assisting with parking, directing traffic, and providing safe and friendly shuttle transportation, this team helps guests feel seen, cared for, and comfortable before they even enter the building. Their hospitality and servant-hearted attitude set the tone for a positive worship experience each week.
homeless outreach
The Homeless Outreach Team exists to share the love and compassion of Jesus with people experiencing hardship and homelessness in our community. Through practical support, meaningful conversations, prayer, and consistent presence, this team helps meet both physical and spiritual needs while treating every person with dignity and care. Homeless Outreach is an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus by bringing hope, encouragement, and connection to those who may feel overlooked or forgotten.
Worship
Volunteers on our Worship team use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through music, sound and lighting. They lead worship and help keep things running smoothly during our services so that our attendees can have a great experience meeting with the Lord and our church.
